Expect traffic Memorial Day weekend across the Cape. The best time to travel is late Friday night, after 10pm, or even Thursday if you can manage it. Do not travel on Saturday!
The best time to head back home is either really early on Monday morning (before 7am) or late (after 8pm). If you are retuning to Boston, avoid all the traffic by taking the CapeFLYER that runs from South Station to Hyannis. Locals tend to stock up and not leave their house.
Events You Can’t Miss
The Annual Figawi Race Weekend kicks off the summer season on Cape Cod and Nantucket. The event attracts both visitors and locals.
